An update from our Manager

Unfortunately due to the EoSFL Premier League reconstruction,  an unusual number of relegation places have us involved in the last game of the season dog fight, our “cup final”. The positive part of the situation is our destiny is in our own hands. Had this been a normal season we would have been home and dry a long time ago.

It’s far from ideal but I can tell you from last night’s training session I don’t feel worried or nervous as I worked with a determined group on the training pitch who looked like they were ready to walk on the pitch, there and then,  and do what is needed to be done.

As usual we have players missing for tomorrow’s fixture,  but we still have an abundance of talented players good enough to win any game of football,  as long as they apply themselves properly and don’t get caught up in the occasion too much.

Personally I have received a lot of support and well wishes from the supporters and the community,  and it’s great to hear that a supporters bus full of fans will be leaving Dunbar to support us as they have done all season.  The support really has been greatly appreciated, and hopefully myself, the coaches and the team can repay that tomorrow.

All the best

Kevin Haynes
