Andy Jones leaves the Seasiders
The club can confirm that a deal has been agreed with Musselburgh Athletic that means Andy Jones will head to Olivebank to play his football next season.
Unfortunately for us (and fantastic for Andy who has moved in with his good lady) Andy has recently moved to West Lothian and was keen to move closer to home. While Musselburgh may sound a little counter intuitive as his next destination they train at the nearby Heriot Watt University.
Andy joined us in December 2020, from Tranent, after an initial successful loan spell. Andy’s surging runs down the left wing, which he finished superbly, helped us create incredible Scottish Cup memories against Broxburn and Camelon as we made our Scottish Cup debut last year.
The first ever Scottish Cup goal for Dunbar United will remain in the history books forever!
