An update from our Manager

I can’t believe how quickly this season is closing in, it seems like only yesterday I took charge of the team for the first time but I’m writing this piece for our last home game of the season.

In general we have made this season harder than it needed to be and still needing points with two games to go isn’t where i wanted to be. It is what it is and we are where we are, so we must now go and complete the task of remaining in the reconstructed EOS Premier League for next season.

Tomorrow we welcome a good Crossgates side who narrowly defeated us early October and have secured a top half finish to the league. I felt hard done after that game as we put so much into the game and the fact Jamie Devlin played 70 mins in goals. They have scored a lot of goals and have an abundance of attacking players who can cause any team problems.

I will take this opportunity to thank all the supporters for their backing of the team this season and their generosity and support in all the club events.

All the best

Kevin Haynes
