An update from our Manager
Having looked at the weather forecast for both tonight and Saturday morning, I’m confident that we will actually get a competitive game this week. Our preparation has been the best it could be with a few friendly matches this week.
As everyone knows these matches aren’t quite the same level or intensity of a league match, but we applied ourselves well against both Leith Athletic last Saturday and Edinburgh city on Monday. I think we are looking fit, and the lads can’t wait to get the match started tomorrow.
We expect Lothian Thistle to come to NCP confident having knocked us out of the second of this year’s Scottish cup. We felt hard done by over the course of those games having conceded a last minute equaliser in the first game, then being reduced to ten men before halftime in the replay, so we have the bit between our teeth and are focused on picking up another home win.
As always, as much support at tomorrow’s game from the DUFC supporters would be greatly appreciated by myself, Dunny and the team.
