An update from our Manager
I hope this isn’t the last Scottish Cup programme we are printing this season as the Scottish Cup weekend is becoming a special occasion for everyone connected to the club.
I felt a huge sense of pride after the Camelon game in the last round. I can’t pinpoint why though, maybe it’s because people see me as the leader of the team and we had exceeded people out with the club’s expectations.
Maybe it’s because we lost a valuable member of the team to injury early in the match which could have unsettled us.
It could also be because we had picked up our first clean sheet of the season and looked like a proper team with a spirit who wants to play for each other and put their bodies on the line to ensure we are in the hat for the next round of the competition, whatever the reason I want to be proud of those boys again come 4:45pm tomorrow and looking forward to the third round draw.
Lothian Thistle Hutchison Vale are a good side and filled with good players. They have turned the corner in the league and are collecting points. They now find themselves only 3 points behind us in the league table and will be confident going into this match.
Hopefully the town can turn out again, act as the twelfth man and help us continue on a memorable debut season competing in the Scottish Cup.
Huge thanks to everyone for all of your support so far this season.
C’mon the Seasiders!
