An update from our Manager
It was a difficult match last week against Jeanfield, but I thought we had the better chances in the game. I felt that we were slightly unfortunate. We didn’t play anywhere near our potential, or anywhere near some of our better performances this season, but we still should have taken something from the game.
We weren’t getting the rub of the green, and from our vantage point and others closer to the incident, the goal was observed to be offiside.
Again we have a few selection issues for tomorrow’s game, with a freak injury sustained by Kieran Ingram at work, which may see him out of action for a few weeks.
As you may have already heard, we have taken the opportunity to bring experienced midfielder Steven Thomson in from Tranent on loan, as I feel he can be a vital player in the latter stage of the season. Thommo brings a wealth of experience and quality to the squad.
I would like to thank all the supporters that attended the club’s Sportsman’s event at the fantastic setup at Hallhill. It was a great event, and I hope everyone enjoyed the occasion as much as I did.
Lastly, I would like to wish all the supporters travelling over to Fife for tomorrow’s game a safe trip, as we take on Hill of Beath Hawthorn for another important league match.
All the best
Kevin Haynes
