An update from our Manager
Personally I am really looking forward to being back in league action tonight, having missed the last two matches due to having Covid and needing to isolate.
We have picked up 4 decent points in that time, starting with the away draw at Camelon followed by a home win to Sauchie.
I was very lucky to watch the Sauchie match live streamed to my house, and I had a few conversations with Dunny and Jinky throughout the game, which I’m sure made me happier than it did with them having to answer my calls on the sidelines.
Sauchie played some good stuff, and I was delighted to get the three points, as they had us under the cosh at times, but I thought we defended well as a unit and got what we deserved for a defensive performance.
Tonight we welcome Whitehill Welfare to New Countess Park, and I very much hope we can give a better account of ourselves than the reverse fixture at Rosewell.
Whitehill will move off the bottom spot and go above the other three clubs currently sitting in the relegation spaces, if they were to win tonight which gives them a massive incentive heading to Dunbar.
With only a handful of matches on tonight, I hope we can get a decent crowd into NCP and support the players in our last match of 2021.
I would like to wish everyone connected with the club a Happy New Year, and hope for your continued support in 2022 and beyond.
All the best and stay safe.
