Steven Thomson joins on loan from Tranent Juniors

The club is delighted to welcome experienced midfielder Steven Thomson to the club.

Steven, who counts Bonnyrigg Rose, Berwick Rangers and Spartans among his former clubs, joins on loan, until the end of the season, from Tranent Juniors.

Our Manager Kevin Haynes said  “Thommo is a player who I have known for years,  and when you get the opportunity to bring someone of his quality to the club, it’s something I felt we had to pursue.”

“He is technically superb with an eye for goal, and a bit of a set piece specialist who will add some more fire power to our squad.”

“Steven is an experienced player who I feel will help the squad in the later stages of the season.  Having been to training for the full week, he will go straight into the squad for this weekend”.

He could be facing familiar opposition on Saturday, having played for Tranent last weekend against Hill of Beath.
